Board of Directors positions open - please consider volunteering

We are immensely proud of the work that has been done over the past couple years and we are immeasurably grateful that the current board was able to stand in the gap during a chaotic past year. As things return to normal, now is a critical point for the league to refill the ranks of active board members without losing programming and development options.

In the end, this is a community supported program that can only be sustained by community involvement. The league cannot continue at this pace with so few people to do the work. In the next year or so, half of the current board will also be at the point to age-out. We encourage folks to take this opportunity to join now, while the program is stable and the learning curve is low. We know not everyone can coach, but many folks have skill sets that will benefit the league from a board and league operations perspective.

The Board membership commitment is a one year commitment of one meeting a month, except for May, June and July due to game schedules. We plan to offer both in-person and remote meeting options if possible. The average commitment is usually preparation for the season which happens in January through March and varies by role. The roles below are open:

  • Treasurer
  • Board administration (Meeting minutes, reminders, coordination)
  • Marketing (This is part of a committee)
  • Website updates (simple text updates – no coding required)
  • Coach/Player development
  • Field Maintenance
  • Equipment distribution
  • Events support (this is part of a committee)
  • Uniforms
  • Assessments
  • Summer Ball Coordinator
  • T/Farm at-large roles (4 available, must be at T/Farm level)

You can find out more information on each role here on our Volunteer page on our website.

If you and your family have benefited from the league and want to see it continue, please consider joining. The more folks involved, the stronger we are, the lighter the load and the ability to continue to offer more opportunities for all ball players in our community.

Go Warriors!
