2024 USA Softball Rulebook

Our softball league plays in conjunction with Clackamas County Girls Softball Association (CCGSA).

This Fast-pitch softball program is for girls 1st – 8th grade. A variety of teams may be formed based on age level and depending on interest and registration. All players are welcome.  We do our best to field teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U levels. If an option isn't available, we will help work with neighboring leagues to find the right team for your player.  

We are an entirely volunteer-run association, and as such rely on parents to help with coaching and with volunteering on our board.  Please consider helping out if you have the time and energy!

Spring Season Info:

Spring season generally starts the week after Spring Break, however some of the older teams may begin practice earlier depending on schedules and field availability.  Practices are held in April and will be held twice a week, with games beginning in early May.  Games will be either M/W evenings or T/Th evenings.  For 8U, once games begin, practices will be limited. 10U, 12U and 14U will generally have one practice per week after games begin. 

At the end of the season, there is a Tournament that your child’s team will participate in through CCGSA.  This is usually the 2nd or 3rd weekend in June.  Your coach will have more information as the time approaches.  Older age groups may play additional tournaments during the season.

Fall Season Info:

Fall softball games will begin in September and finish in October, typically running for 5 weeks with tournament play on the last weekend. Coaches may or may not also elect to try and schedule a weekly practice.

Players should play for teams that are age appropriate for the coming spring season.
