Welcome to Cleveland Youth Baseball & Softball

Cleveland welcomes players to join our community baseball organization.

If you are new to Cleveland Baseball, here's a brief overview of the different levels for our annual spring season:

Pre-K & Kindergarden: Tee Ball
1st & 2nd Grade: Farm Ball (Coach pitch & kid pitch at end of season)
3rd & 4th Grade: Minors (100% kid pitch)
5th & 6th Grade: Juniors
7th & 8th Grade: Seniors

Where Do We Play?

Cleveland home games are played in the Sellwood, Westmoreland, Eastmoreland and Woodstock neighborhoods.

Baseball: Who Do We Play?

Tee Ball, Farm Ball, Minors: Our players play vs. each other in fun local neighborhood games.
Minor American, Juniors, Seniors: Teams are formed based on skill level starting at the Minor American level and for all teams at the Junior & Senior levels. These teams play against opponents from other towns like Oregon City, Tualatin, Estacada, etc. Annual assessments help the league to form teams, placing players on teams of similar skill level and experience.

Fall Ball

Registration: Opens in July. Available only for 3rd - 8th graders.

Practices: 1-2x per week, after school. Practices are held at Westmoreland Park fields and begin the first week of school.

Games: 1x per week. 8 Sunday games played across September and October.

Where: Games are played at various locations in the Clackamas area.

Winter Workouts

Registration: Opens in November. Available only to 3rd - 8th graders who are registered for the spring season. Capped when full.

When: 1x per week, on Sundays from 8:30am - 10am.

Dates: TBD but generally a 4-6 week series that spans December and January.

Where: At D-Bat in Tigard.

Spring Baseball

Registration: November 1st.

Assessments: All 3rd - 8th graders must complete a baseball skills assessment each year, held in January or February.

Season: Practice starts after Spring Break. Games start in April and run through June/July based on age / league type.

Where: Home games are played in the Sellwood, Westmoreland, Eastmoreland and Woodstock neighborhoods.
